With renewed enthusiams now is the time to get get ready. The local response we had so far has been very encouraging and mostly positive. There is certainly a sense of God's timing and wanting to see some answers to our prayers.

The main purpose of this next meeting is to built a local leadership team. This meeting is primarily for people from Duns and Chirnside, as some of the other regions will built their own leadership.

Duns, TD11 3DD (Park in the Market Square and walk through the alleyway between the Post Office and Fantoosh (coffee shop). You’ll see the church in front of you and if you bear left, the main door is just round the corner from the church notice board.)

To that effect I am asking you to come prepared and consider who would be good to be involved. Maybe it is you or someone you want to recommend for a particular position - share with them now why they are needed and invite them to come along.

To help with all that I have included a chart with the various positions we need to fill. You can print it out or fill it in on your computer. On the 2nd page is a short summary of each position with a link to read the full job descriptions. (Please keep in mind that for the comparably smaller events we are planning for Duns and Chirnside the job will be simpler, but this gives us a good overview)

Once we have a chair-person or co-chairs we can finalize the local budget. We will also look at the calendar and chart out some events between now and November.

If your church was not represented at the previous meetings, we would appreciate someone to come along and be sure to hear what is being planned. For those represented, please pass on the information to those you think should know and share it with your board, elders or leadership team.
